Elguja Khokrishvili at Global Infrastructure Forum

Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) Elguja Khokrishvili, was on a working visit to the USA. He participated in the “Global Strategic Forum on Infrastructure Management” (CG/LA), which is held annually in New York (http://www.cg-la.com).

The forum showcased the 100 most global infrastructural projects in the world this year, including the Georgian infrastructural ones, which Elguja Khokrishvili presented to forum participants. The forum brings together infrastructural projects from around the world.

At the forum in New York, Mr. Khokrishvili presented the current and planned projects of MDF. Following official meetings, Executive Director of MDF also met with the American businessmen, during which they exchanged information and discussed future cooperation. Upon finalization of the Forum, the visit of delegation of Georgia continued in Washington DC, where Elguja Khokrishvili, together with Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Davit Narmania, met with the World Bank (WB) Vice President Phillippe Leroux and Director of Sustainable Development Sector László Lówy. At that meeting, WB representatives were briefed on the progress of WB supported infrastructural projects in Georgia.
