A New Building to be Added to Tbilisi Public School №128

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure (MRDI) – Revaz Sokhadze, along with Deputy Minister - Mzia Giorgobiani, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth (MESY) – Tamar Makharashvili, and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) – Giorgi Shonia, inspected the construction of an additional building to Tbilisi Public School №128.

Within the project, a new building, designed to accommodate 300 students, will be added to the school and equipped in accordance with modern educational standards.

The construction cost exceeds GEL 9.1 million. The project execution is funded by the Government of Georgia (GOG) and aims at expanding the school infrastructure and improving the learning environment.

The MRDI is implementing construction and rehabilitation projects of public schools as per the list of priority schools, determined by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia (MESY). The MESY identifies the infrastructural needs and priorities of schools, whereas the MRDI, through the MDF, ensures the implementation of the respective construction and rehabilitation projects.
