Construction of Football Training Centers is Actively Underway in Kakheti Region

The construction of football training centers in Kvareli and Telavi is actively underway. The Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) – Giorgi Shonia, and Deputy Executive Director of the MDF – Shota Andriadze, inspected the progress of work at the site, and familiarized themselves with the work process.

Within those projects, training stadiums with artificial turf of modern standards will be arranged in both municipalities. The fields will be designed so as to accommodate 300 spectators and will be fully equipped with modern lighting systems, administrative and support buildings, locker rooms, and restrooms for athletes.

The MDF is to build more than 50 modern technical centers and stadiums with artificial turf across the country that will significantly contribute to the promotion of sports and the creation of appropriate sports environment for the youth.
