Construction is Actively Underway On Ilia Chavchavadze Public School №1 in Kvareli City

The construction of Ilia Chavchavadze Public School №1 in Kvareli City is being carried out by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI).

Executive Director of the MDF – Giorgi Shonia, and Program Manager at the MDF – Giorgi Mikeladze, inspected the progress of construction work at the site.

The project provides for the construction of a public school of modern standards, designed for 700 students.

At present stage, the main construction work on the school building has been completed. Interior repair and finishing work is underway, as well as landscaping of the school surrounding area.

The project envisages the arrangement of classrooms in accordance with modern educational standards, and the creation of a safe, comfortable, and fully functional learning environment for students and teachers.

The school is being constructed with co-financing from the Government of Georgia (GOG) and the World Bank (WB). The project cost exceeds GEL 14.5 million.
