A meeting of the Competition Commission for the selection of architectural concepts was held at the Ministry of Infrastructure.
In attendance of the meeting was Minister of Infrastructure - Revaz Sokhadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) – Giorgi Shonia, Members of Parliament, and members of the Competition Commission.

At the meeting, Commission Members reviewed three architectural concepts, submitted for the development of Zuzumbo Park in Telavi City.
The project envisages the development of an area of approximately 9.9 hectares and the creation of a modern, multifunctional recreational space. Located in the southern part of Telavi City, the site is characterized by its greenery, natural topography, and ecologically clean environment.

As per the project, the park will include the playgrounds for children and sports zones, cultural and educational spaces, recreational areas and green spaces, walking and biking paths, public and commercial spaces, the necessary service infrastructure, and a parking lot.
The site will also feature an open-air stage, pavilions, and event venues, small architectural shapes, outdoor lighting, and irrigation, water supply, drainage, and security systems.

In the course of the design process, special attention will be paid to planting native plant species, protecting biodiversity, and creating an environmentally sustainable environment.
The Competition Commission will identify and announced the winning architectural firm in several days.
