Construction of Football Technical Centers and Artificial-Turf Stadiums to Begin in Five Municipalities

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has signed a contract with the tender winner company.

Football technical centers and artificial-turf stadiums will be constructed in the town of Aspindza, Aspindza Municipality; the town of Akhaldaba, Borjomi Municipality; as well as in Kaspi, Khashuri, and the town of Agara, Kareli Municipality.

As part of the project, 300-seat spectator stands, artificial-turf training pitches, and modern lighting systems will be installed, enabling the facilities to be used throughout the day and during evening hours.

The facilities will also include changing rooms, sanitary facilities, medical rooms, and auxiliary spaces.

Across the country, the Municipal Development Fund plans to construct more than 50 football technical centers and artificial-turf stadiums.

The new sports infrastructure will contribute to the development of football in the regions and provide young people with a modern and well-equipped environment for training and sports activities.
