Kindergarten №18 in Batumi is being Reconstructed-Rehabilitated

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is carrying out a complete reconstruction and rehabilitation of kindergarten №18 in Batumi City.

Minister of Infrastructure – Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the MDF – Giorgi Shonia, and the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara – Zurab Pataradze, visited the site of the rehabilitation work.

The project for the kindergarten, designed to accommodate 250 children, envisages the reinforcement and the modernization of the existing building and its complete renovation in accordance with modern standards. The upgraded infrastructure will be fully adapted to the needs of preschoolers.

The interior and exterior spaces of the kindergarten, utility systems, heating and ventilation systems, restrooms, and kitchen area will be upgraded.

The area, surrounding the kindergarten, will be landscaped, and recreational areas will be created; a modern playground will also be arranged there that will be equipped with appropriate play equipment, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and modern environment for children.
