Infrastructure projects are underway in Abastumani

Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure - Giorgi Shonia, together with Head of Abastumani Development Agency - Giorgi Gedevanidze, and Mayor of Adigeni Municipality – Gocha Kimadze, visited the sites of ongoing projects in Abastumani Borough of Adigeni Municipality.

The Director of MDF assessed the timelines, as well as the quality of the work and discussed with contractors the ways so as the existing issues to be resolved in a timely manner.

Within the projects to be carried out by MDF, the buildings and structures of historical and cultural significance will be restored, and public tourist and recreational areas will be improved in Abastumani resort.

The goal of the projects is to protect the historical and cultural environment of Abastumani, and to develop the resort in accordance with modern standards that will further strengthen the tourism and economic potential of the region.
