Construction of the New Administrative Building for the Prosecutor’s Office Continues

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze and Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvarakidze, together with Giorgi Shonia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, visited the construction site of the new administrative building for the Prosecutor’s Office, to review the ongoing works.
The project for construction of the new administrative building is being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure. Designed to meet modern standards, the new facility will address the operational needs of employees and provide appropriate conditions for the efficient functioning of the Prosecutor’s Office.
The new building will accommodate the district prosecutor’s offices of Tbilisi. For years, employees of the district prosecutor’s offices have been working in spaces located across different buildings. Upon completion of the new facility, they will have a unified and appropriately equipped working environment.
The building will also feature a modern training centre and a child-friendly interview room equipped with the necessary technical facilities.
The project provides for the construction of a four-storey administrative building and a two-storey public reception area, enabling citizens to access relevant services in a comfortable and convenient environment.
At this stage, the reinforced concrete works for the administrative building have been completed. Façade finishing works are currently underway, with engineering and construction works progressing within the interior spaces. At the same time, works are ongoing to construct the perimeter fence and install drainage and wastewater systems. The project also envisages development of a recreational area.
Revaz Sokhadze and Giorgi Gvarakidze received detailed information from representatives of the contractor regarding the completed and ongoing works. Representatives of the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau also visited the site to review progress of the construction works.
The Minister of Infrastructure placed particular emphasis on the quality of works and compliance with the project implementation schedule. The quality and progress of construction works will be monitored by the Municipal Development Fund and specialists of the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau.
