The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has announced a competition for the preparation of detailed design and cost-estimation documentation for Zuzumbo Park in the city of Telavi.

The project envisages development of an area of approximately 9.9 hectares and creation of a modern, multifunctional recreational space. The project area is located in the southern part of Telavi and is distinguished by its green landscape, naturally formed terrain and environmentally clean surroundings.

The proposed park will feature children’s playgrounds and sports areas, cultural and educational spaces, recreational and landscaped routes, pedestrian and cycling paths, public and commercial areas, as well as supporting infrastructure and parking facilities.

The project will also include an open-air stage, pavilions and event spaces, small architectural features, as well as outdoor lighting, irrigation, water supply, drainage and security systems. Particular attention will be given to landscaping with native plant species, biodiversity conservation and the creation of an environmentally sustainable setting.

The design process will be implemented in several stages. During the first stage, preliminary site surveys will be conducted, existing utility networks will be assessed, and a concept for the development of the area will be prepared. The subsequent stage will involve the development of detailed design and cost-estimation documentation.
