Design of Tsageri Cultural Center Rehabilitation to Begin

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has signed a contract for the preparation of a reconstruction and rehabilitation project for Tsageri Cultural Center building.

The contract was signed with the architectural firm selected as the winner of the competition.

The project aims to preserve the historic building of the Tsageri Cultural Center while fully upgrading it in accordance with modern standards.

According to the project, a multifunctional cultural center will be developed, featuring a concert hall, exhibition spaces, and educational facilities.

The rehabilitation works will include the optimization of interior spaces, installation of modern heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, and safety systems, introduction of energy-efficient technologies, and creation of an accessible environment for persons with special needs.

The project will also include improvement of the surrounding area, development of a recreational zone, and construction of parking facilities.

Renovation of the Tsageri Cultural Center, originally constructed in the 1950s, will preserve the building’s historical value while contributing to the development of cultural life in the region.
