Design of a Multifunctional Complex to Begin in Tsalenjikha

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has signed a contract for the preparation of design and cost-estimate documentation for a multifunctional complex in the city of Tsalenjikha.

The project envisages development of a sports complex and cultural-educational center designed to accommodate 250 spectators and meeting international standards. The developed design will serve as a replicable model for other regions.

According to the project, the multifunctional complex will include a main swimming pool and a children’s pool, changing rooms and showers, as well as specialized halls for judo, wrestling, boxing, karate, MMA, table tennis, artistic gymnastics, and weightlifting.

The complex will also feature a dedicated chess area, medical unit, administrative and referees’ rooms, kitchen, and dining area. As part of the project, the existing natural-turf stadium will also be rehabilitated.

In addition, the complex will include a cultural and educational center comprising a media library, foreign language learning spaces, and dedicated areas for choreography, folk arts, and other artistic activities.

The facility will also accommodate small and multifunctional halls, as well as a STEM club providing dedicated workspaces for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The project will also include development of parking facilities, pedestrian pathways, water supply, lighting, and safety systems within the multifunctional complex site.
