Design of a Multifunctional Complex to Begin in Zestafoni

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has signed a contract for the preparation of design and cost-estimate documentation for a multifunctional complex in Zestafoni with a capacity of 500 spectators.
As part of the project, detailed design and cost-estimate documentation will be prepared for a multifunctional sports complex and a cultural and educational center, in compliance with international standards.
The complex will feature a multifunctional hall, swimming pools, sports halls for various disciplines, and a fitness area, as well as football and rugby training fields. The project will also provide for parking facilities, pedestrian pathways, lighting and safety systems, landscaping, and overall site improvement.
The sports complex will accommodate dedicated training spaces for judo, wrestling, boxing, MMA, table tennis, artistic gymnastics, various martial arts, fencing, and weightlifting.
Alongside the sports infrastructure, the multifunctional complex will also incorporate cultural and educational facilities. Dedicated spaces will be provided for choreography and folk arts, foreign language learning, and a STEM club, as well as a media library and other educational and creative areas.
The project developed for Zestafoni will serve as a standard replicable design and will subsequently be used for the development of multifunctional complexes in different regions of Georgia, adapted to specific locations. In addition to the main project, the contract also provides for its adaptation to five additional locations.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of modern sports and cultural-educational infrastructure in the regions, create an appropriate environment for sports and youth activities, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
