Ministry of Infrastructure Announces a Tender for Construction of 36 Kindergartens

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has announced a tender for the construction of 36 kindergartens in 19 municipalities of 6 regions across the country.

The procurement includes the revision of detailed design documentation for the kindergartens, and the subsequent execution of construction work, based on that documents.

The total estimated cost of the projects amounts to GEL 100 million.

The projects provide for the construction of kindergartens in Kareli, Gurjaani, Sagarejo, Adigeni, Gori, Kaspi, Kvareli, Lagodekhi, Akhmeta, Martvili, Abasha, Khobi, Sighnaghi, Zugdidi, Ninotsminda, Borjomi, Tsalka, Samtredia and Khoni Municipalities.

As a result of implementation of these projects, 36 kindergartens will be built across the country, providing a safe and comfortable environment of modern standards for up to 2000 children.

The development of kindergarten infrastructure is one of basic directions of MDF activity. In addition to the afore-mentioned 36 kindergartens, there are to be constructed new kindergartens on a stage-by-stage basis in various municipalities throughout the country. The execution of these projects will contribute to the development of preschool educational infrastructure and the creation of appropriate conditions for children.
MDF calls for the construction companies with relevant experience and qualifications to express interest in the announced tenders, and participate in procurement procedures.
