Rehabilitation of Park in Stepantsminda Borough is Underway

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is carrying out the rehabilitation of the existing park in Stepantsminda Borough of Kazbegi Municipality.

Within the project, a modern, well-equipped, and multifunctional recreational space will be arranged within the park.

The Park covers an area of 36 957 square meters, out of which 15 608 square meters will be covered with greenery. The project involves a comprehensive rehabilitation of the site, and the modernization of the existing recreational space.

The Park will feature playgrounds, sports fields, water features, and pedestrian bridges, as well as outdoor lighting and irrigation systems, restrooms, and video surveillance cameras. Canopies and modern park furniture will also be installed there.

Minister of Infrastructure – Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of MDF – Giorgi Shonia, Member of Parliament of Georgia – Aluda Ghudushauri, and representatives of local authorities, inspected the progress of the work on site.
