REHABILITATION OF KINDERGARTENS IN CHOKHATAURI MUNICIPALITY NEARS COMPLETION

The rehabilitation of Kindergarten №1 and Nursery №1 in Chokhatauri Municipality is coming to an end.

The Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) - Giorgi Shonia, along with the State Representative to Guria Region – Giorgi Ghurjumelidze, and the Mayor of Chokhatauri Municipality – Mindia Zhgheria, inspected the progress of the current work on site.

Both preschool institutions are designed to accommodate 100 children each. Within the reconstruction and rehabilitation, modern learning and play areas adjusted to the needs of children were created, and the courtyard area was landscaped as well.

The project included structural reinforcing of the buildings, upgrading of architectural and engineering systems, arranging of energy-efficient heating and ventilation, as well as fire safety systems.

The upgraded kindergartens are fully adapted for children with special needs, providing them with the opportunity to learn and be developed in a safe and equally accessible environment.
