Construction of a new football technical center is underway in Zestafoni as part of ongoing efforts to enhance sports infrastructure across Georgia.

The project includes the development of an artificial-turf training football pitch, a 300-seat spectator stand, changing rooms for athletes, sanitary facilities, a medical room, and other supporting service areas.

The Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, inspected the progress of the construction works together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Giorgi Shonia, Member of Parliament Zviad Shalamberidze, President of the Georgian Football Federation Levan Kobiashvili, State Representative in the Imereti Region Levan Zalkaliani, and representatives of the local authorities.

The Municipal Development Fund plans to construct more than 50 football technical centers and artificial-turf stadiums across the country. The initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of sports infrastructure in Georgia's regions and create improved training conditions for athletes and young football players.
