Football Training Center in Chiatura under Active Stage of Construction

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing a number of significant projects aimed at developing modern sports infrastructure in Imereti Region.

Construction of football training centers is actively underway in Chiatura, Zestaponi and Vani.

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with Executive Director of MDF - Giorgi Shonia, President of the Football Federation - Levan Kobiashvili, State Representative to Imereti Region - Levan Zalkaliani, and representatives of local authorities, visited the construction site in Chiatura to inspect the progress of works.

Within the project, there is to be arranged a training stadium with artificial turf, a grandstand designated for 300 spectators, as well as locker rooms, restrooms, a medical office, and additional storage facilities in Chiatura.
