DESIGN OF THE BADIURI LOCAL FOOD MARKETPLACE BEGINS

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has signed a contract with the company selected through a competitive procurement process. The design services are scheduled to be completed within four months.
Under the project, a modern marketplace and entrepreneurship zone will be designed in the village of Badiuri, Sagarejo Municipality, on a site designated for the sale of locally produced food products. The project envisages construction of pavilions, storage facilities and retail kiosks, as well as a parking area. It also includes development of public sanitary facilities and installation of security, outdoor lighting, power supply, water supply and sewerage systems.
The fully serviced marketplace will be developed as part of the construction of the 17-kilometre Sagarejo–Badiuri highway, adjacent to the transport interchange of the new road. The new location will provide local entrepreneurs with a safe and well-organised environment in which to market their products and generate a stable source of income.
The new Badiuri marketplace will promote locally produced goods and create a modern business environment that meets contemporary standards.
