REHABILITATION OF KUTAISI PUBLIC SCHOOL NO. 28 NEARING COMPLETION

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia is completing the rehabilitation of Kutaisi Public School No. 28.

The final stage of the project was inspected on site by the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Giorgi Shonia, and the Mayor of Kutaisi, Davit Eremeishvili.

Designed to accommodate 150 students, the fully rehabilitated school will feature modern, standards-compliant classrooms, science laboratories, and information and communication technology (ICT) learning spaces.

The school will also include dedicated rooms for visual and applied arts, with a new playground developed in the schoolyard.

The entire school infrastructure has been fully adapted to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities. The building is equipped with modern heating, water supply, and sewage systems.

The rehabilitation of Kutaisi Public School No. 28 was financed jointly by the Government of Georgia and the World Bank. The total value of the project is GEL 3.5 million.
