MEETING WITH TEACHERS AND PARENTS OF STUDENTS OF TSALENJIKHA PUBLIC SCHOOL №1

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with Members of Parliament of Georgia: Irakli Zarkua and Ilia Injia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Giorgi Shonia, and representatives of the local authorities, met with teachers and parents of students of Tsalenjikha Public School №1. At the meeting, the Minister outlined the ongoing preparatory process and the design stage for the construction of a new school, and also discussed current and scheduled educational, sports and other projects related to the public infrastructure that are to be carried out across the Municipality.

Revaz Sokhadze noted that a modern learning space for 600 students is being designed for Tsalenjikha Pubic School №1. According to Minister, the new school will be fully adapted to modern educational standards and will offer students and teachers a safe, comfortable and comprehensive environment.

It was noted at the meeting that the sketch design for the school was completed, which had already been approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. The documents for the first stage of design have also been submitted, while design documentation for the second stage is currently under preparation.

The Minister also briefed those present at the meeting on the progress of current educational projects in the Municipality, including the construction of Public School №2 in Pakhulani Village and the completed project of Sachino Community Public School №1. The meeting also discussed the projects related to sports and other public infrastructure, scheduled to be implemented in the Municipality that is to improve the quality of life for the local population and contribute to the development of the Municipality as well.
The design of Public School №1 is Tsalenjikha is funded by the Government of Georgia (GOG).
