A BIDDING ANNOUNCED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL 19 FOOTBALL TRAINING CENTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has announced a bidding for the construction of 19 new football training centers and stadiums with artificial turf.

The construction work will begin in Chitatskari Village of Zugdidi Municipality, Senaki, Tkibuli, Kharagauli Borough of Kharagauli Municipality, Dedoplistskaro, Tsiklani Village of Mtskheta Municipality, Chabukiani Village of Lagodekhi Municipality, Tianeti Borough of Tianeti Municipality, Stepantsmina Borough of Kabzegi Municipality, Dmanisi, Tetritskaro, Ninotsmina, Gardabani, Marneuli, Aspindza Borough of Aspindza Municipality, Akhaldaba Borough of Borjomi Municipality, Kaspi, Khashuri and Agara Borough of Kareli Municipality.

The projects envisage the construction of stands for 300 spectators, modern football fields, referee and team rooms, showers, locker rooms, and technical storage facilities.

The new sports infrastructure will contribute to the development of football in the regions and the strengthening of the sports lifestyle.

MDF is to build more than 50 training centers and stadiums with artificial turf throughout the country
