SELECTION OF CONSULTING COMPANY TO CARRY OUT ENERGY-EFFICIENT SCHOOL RENOVATIONS HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure, within a project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), has announced the selection of a consulting company to carry out renovation of energy-efficient public schools, located in regions.

The project aims at modernizing school infrastructure in various regions of Georgia in compliance with modern standards. The renovation process includes the implementation of energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable (“green”) solutions that will help create a safe and comfortable learning environment, reduce energy consumptions, lower operating costs, and minimize environmental impact.

The planned approaches will ensure the implementation of energy-efficient practice throughout the country.

The project is being implemented within a joint investment program of the European Union (EU), EBRD and the German Credit Bank (DKB).
