DESIGN OF AKHTALA PARK IN GURJAANI IS TO BEGIN

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has signed a contract with the bidding winner company. The project is scheduled to be completed within 6 months.

As per the project, Akhtala Park will feature the areas for children, sports, cultural and educational activities. The recreational spaces and a network of pedestrian paths and biking lanes are also to be arranged.

The Park will house an information center, cultural and educational spaces – including an open-air stage, an event plaza, and multifunctional pavilions. Landscaping elements and fountains will also be arranged there.

In the course of the design, special attention will be paid to environmental sustainability, the use of native plant species, separate waste collection, and the use of eco-friendly materials.
