A COMPETITION ANNOUNCED FOR DESIGN OF TSAGERI CULTURE CENTER RECONSTRUCTION-REHABILITATION

The purpose of the design competition, announced by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure, is to preserve the historic building of Tsageri Culture Center and completely upgrade it in accordance with modern standards.

As per design, a multifunctional center is to be arranged there that will house a concert hall, exhibition and educational areas.

The rehabilitation work must include the optimization of the space, arrangement of modern heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, and security systems, introduction of energy-efficient technologies, and creation of an inclusive environment for people with special needs.

According to the design, the surrounding area, a recreational zone, and a parking lot must also be arranged there.

The upgrade of Tsageri Culture Center, built in the 1950s, will preserve the historical value of the building and contribute to the development of the cultural life of the region.
