A COMPETITION ANNOUNCED FOR REHABILITATION OF “MAGNOLIA” RESIDENTIAL BUILDING AND REFURBISHMENT OF ITS FACADE IN BATUMI CITY

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure announces a competition for the rehabilitation project of so-called “Magnolia” residential building, located at №4 Sheriff Khimshiashvili Str. in Batumi City.

The goal of the project is to completely upgrade the building, which is located near the waterfront in one of the central districts of the city, improve its appearance, and ensure its compliance with modern urban environment.

The scheduled work includes the structural reinforcement of the building, improvement of its façades, roof, and balconies, as well as restoration of the exterior architectural elements.

Those participating in the competition must prepare detailed design documentation and an architectural sketch to reflect a conceptual vision for both the building and the surrounding site.

As per available information, “Magnolia” residential building, located at №4 Sheriff Khimshiashvili Str. of Batumi City, is currently fit for use, although it requires to be rehabilitated.
