MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT FUND OF GEORGIA REHABILITATING PUBLIC SCHOOL NO. 218 IN PONICHALA, TBILISI

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is carrying out the rehabilitation of Public School No. 218 in the Ponichala district of Tbilisi.
The ongoing works were inspected on-site by the Deputy Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Kvara Chartolani.
The project envisages comprehensive rehabilitation of the school, designed for 500 students, and its modernization in line with contemporary educational standards.

The rehabilitation works include creation of modern classrooms, a library, science laboratories, information technology facilities, art and music studios, a multifunctional hall, as well as administrative and support spaces.

The project also covers improvement of the school grounds, modernization of engineering infrastructure, installation of energy-efficient systems, and full adaptation of the building to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities.

The rehabilitation of Public School No. 218 in Ponichala is being financed by the Government of Georgia. The project was transferred to the Municipal Development Fund for implementation by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA).
