RECONSTRUCTION OF AKHALTSIKHE PUBLIC SCHOOL NO. 2 TO COMMENCE

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is launching the reconstruction project of Akhaltsikhe Public School No. 2.
The project envisages reconstruction of a school designed to accommodate 900 students and its modernization in line with current educational and infrastructure standards.

The primary objective of the project is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the school, create modern learning environments, and integrate all necessary engineering systems.

The reconstruction works will include development of modern classrooms, a library, science laboratories, information technology spaces, art and music studios, a multifunctional hall, as well as administrative and support facilities.

The project also includes landscaping and improvement of the school grounds, construction of an outdoor sports field, modernization of engineering infrastructure, implementation of energy-efficient systems, and full accessibility of the building for persons with disabilities.

School rehabilitation project is being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure with funding from the Government of Georgia. Total value of the project amounts to GEL 10.8 million.
