Under a competition announced by the Municipal Development Fund, a project design will be prepared for a multifunctional sports complex with a capacity of 500 spectators in Zestafoni. The project will serve as a replicable model for the development of similar facilities in other regions of Georgia.

According to the design concept, the multifunctional complex will feature swimming pools for adults and children, changing rooms, and shower facilities, as well as dedicated training halls for judo, wrestling, boxing, karate, mixed martial arts (MMA), table tennis, artistic gymnastics, fencing, and weightlifting.

The complex will also include a chess area, a medical unit, administrative and referees’ rooms, as well as kitchen and dining facilities.
The design also provides for the creation of a media library, foreign language learning facilities, a library, and dedicated spaces for choreography, folklore, and arts education.

The building will also accommodate a hall with a seating capacity of 150–200 spectators, as well as a STEM Club, bringing together multifunctional workspaces focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
In addition, the design will include planning of parking facilities, pedestrian pathways, lighting, and security systems within the multifunctional complex grounds.
