DESIGN OF A SPORTS COMPLEX AND TECHNICAL CENTER IN GURJAANI

The project involves design works for a sports complex that is to integrate multifunctional halls, large and children’s swimming pools, as well as gymnasium and fitness areas.

Concurrently, development of a multifunctional complex with a seating capacity of 1,000 spectators has already commenced in Gurjaani. The complex will include a media library, spaces for choreography, arts, folklore, and foreign languages, a STEM club, a small performance hall, a multifunctional event space, as well as administrative and technical zones.

The project also provides for comprehensive site improvement for the complex territory, including arrangement of parking areas, access roads, pedestrian pathways, recreational zones, and landscaping. It further includes the full design of external lighting, security systems, water supply, heating and cooling, and fire safety systems.

Alongside the multifunctional sports complex, the design of a football technical center and stadium is also underway in Gurjaani.
Within the framework of the project, an artificial turf football field will be constructed, along with a 300-seat spectator stand and all necessary supporting infrastructure, including locker rooms, sanitary facilities, and utility/storage spaces. The project will be fully adapted to meet accessibility requirements for persons with disabilities.

As part of the planned infrastructure development, the project details for the designated construction area were reviewed on-site by the Minister of Infrastructure together with contractors and representatives of the local authorities.
