A BIDDING ANNOUNCED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF TOURISM AND URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE ON APRIL 9 AVENUE IN POTI CITY

The goal of the urban development project to be implemented in Poti is to create a multifunctional public space and renovate existing infrastructural facilities and buildings on April 9 Avenue and the surrounding area.

The scheduled work includes both functional and visual improvements to the avenue and square, as well as the rehabilitation of the façades of adjacent apartment buildings.

Within the project, walking paths, recreation and entertainment zones will be arranged in the public space, greenery will be renovated, and a modern lighting system will be installed. Improvements to pedestrian and visual integration along Nikoladze Coastline are also planned to be provided.

The project must include the rehabilitation of buildings and structures of historical and heritage status, the regulation of pedestrian streets and related infrastructure, including the renovation of sidewalks, the restoration of outdoor lighting and utility networks, the placement of small architectural features within the area, the landscaping work, as well as the improvement of intersections, connecting with adjacent streets.

When preparing sketches and designs, consideration should be given to updating the appearance of the project sites in accordance with their functional purpose, historical and cultural characteristics, as well as contemporary architectural approaches.
