Asian Development Bank (ADB) holds a Quarterly Meeting

Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze and ADB Program Manager Beka Toria, were in attendance of a Quarterly Meeting at ADB. 

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minsiters of Infrastructure, Finance, Economy, Health, Environmental Protection and Agriculture. 
The meeting discussed current and completed projects, assessed implementation stages, and reviewed the results achieved. Particular attention was paid to future plans, during which the parties dicussed the planned initiatives, priority areas, and the opportunities so as the cooperation to be expanded. 

MDF has implemented a number of important infrastructural projects with the financial support from ADB. In 2025 only, MDF finalized the construction of sports complexes in Akhaltsikhe and Zugdidi, as well as of the Zviad Gamsakhurdia Library. Rehabilitation of Laghami District in Mestia is currently underway.
