A NEW BUILDING WILL BE CONSTRUCTED FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL NO. 158

The Public School #158, located in Saburtalo District, was transferred to the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) following the dissolution of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA) of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. 

The existing infrastructure of the school does not meet the required capacity, and neither the construction of an additional annex to the building can fully satisfy that need – in this case, the arrangement of an additional area can accommodate 300-400 students only. 

Respectively, the decision has been made to construct a new school of modern standards that can be designated for 1000 students. Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Minister of Education Givi Mikanadze, Executive Director of MDF Beka Urushadze, Saburtalo District Governor Gaioz Vasadze and Member of Tbilisi City Council Shalva Peranidze visited the school so as to get familiarized with the current situation of the school on site.
