Football Technical Center Under Construction in Sagarejo

A modern Football Technical Center is under construction in Sagarejo.

The ongoing works were inspected by Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia, Revaz Sokhadze, together with President of the Georgian Football Federation Levan Kobiashvili, State Representative in the Kakheti Region Platon Kalmakhelidze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Giorgi Shonia, and representatives of the local authorities.

The project envisages construction of a 300-seat artificial-turf training stadium. It also provides for a technical building, changing rooms, sanitary facilities, a medical room, and other supporting infrastructure required for athletes.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is implementing the construction of more than 50 modern football technical centers and artificial-turf stadiums across Georgia. The initiative will contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in the regions, provide modern training facilities for young athletes, and promote a healthy lifestyle throughout the country.
