Design of Telavi Football Stadium Continues

The design of a new UEFA Category III Stadium in Telavi is actively underway within the Sports Infrastructure Development Program of the country.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia Revaz Sokhadze, met with the designers - architects of the project in Telavi to discuss the design process with them. The meeting covered accomplished work, the current stage, and further steps for project implementation.
As per design, the existing outdated stadium in Telavi will be replaced with a UEFA Category III stadium of international standards to accommodate 4 500 spectators.

The new stadium will feature locker rooms, showers, medical and physiotherapy rooms, a doping control area, a conference hall, and a media center. It will also include adapted infrastructure for people with special needs, parking lots, as well as modern irrigation, security, lighting, and audiovisual systems.
Upon design finalization, the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) will announce a bidding for the construction of a stadium.
