TBILISI PUBLIC SCHOOL №102 WILL BE UPGRADED WITHIN REHABILITATION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Giorgi Shonia, Member of Tbilisi City Council Beka Gelenava, and Vake District Governor Levan Kipiani, inspected the site of current works at Tbilisi Public School №102.

MDF of the Ministry of Infrastructure, with financial support from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), is implementing a project to rehabilitate and improve the energy efficiency of Tbilisi Public School №102.

The project envisages the complete rehabilitation of the existing school building, the implementation of energy-efficient solutions, the repair and thermal insulation of the façade, and the restoration and refurbishment of the interior spaces in accordance with modern educational standards. The schoolyard infrastructure will also be improved. At this stage, work is underway on façade lining and painting the building.

Tbilisi Public School №102, designed for students with special educational needs, has a capacity of 180 students. The project cost amounts to GEL 9.4 million.
