DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM AND URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE OF APRIL 9 LANE IN POTI IS TO BEGIN

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is to begin the upgrade of the existing infrastructure of April 9 Lane and the adjacent area in Poti.
The project aims at enhancing urban development and creating of a multifunctional public space. The planned work includes functional and visual improvements to the alley and the square.

Within the project, pedestrian paths, recreation zones, and entertainment spaces will be arranged in the public space, greenery will be upgraded, and a modern lighting system will be installed. The pedestrian and visual integration along Nikoladze embankment is to be improved as well.

The project will be implemented on a stage-by-stage basis – at first stage the design documentation will be prepared, and then the construction and rehabilitation work will be executed.
