WORKING MEETING HELD ON CURRENT AND UPCOMING PROJECTS IN ABASTUMANI

The Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, held a working meeting in Abastumani regarding ongoing and planned projects. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Department of Motor Roads, contractor companies, and the architectural group.
The discussions focused on the planned works under the contract for the large-scale infrastructure rehabilitation design and construction in the town of Abastumani, stages of project implementation, existing challenges, and quality control issues.
The parties also deliberated on the necessary measures for the maintenance and management of the resort and emphasized the importance of preserving Abastumani’s ecological, historical, and tourist environment.
The new project envisages restoration of buildings with historical and cultural significance, development of touristic and recreational spaces, renovation of streets and roads, and arrangement and rehabilitation of embankment and bridge infrastructure.
Upon completion, Abastumani will be fully established as a modern resort meeting international standards and will further strengthen its position on the global touristic map.
