CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW KINDERGARTEN IN SAGAREJO ENTERS ACTIVE PHASE

The Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, together with Deputy Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Kvara Chartolani, conducted a site visit in the Kakheti region as part of ongoing monitoring of infrastructure projects. During the visit, they reviewed the progress of construction of a modern kindergarten in Sagarejo designed to accommodate 75 children.

Upon completion, the facility will provide local children with a safe, age-appropriate environment tailored to meet their developmental needs. The new kindergarten is expected to support the holistic development of children while also creating more convenient conditions for parents.

The building will be fully aligned with modern standards, featuring well-equipped group rooms, dedicated play and educational spaces, rest areas, and comprehensive safety systems. The project also includes landscaping of the surrounding area, as well as arrangement of playgrounds and recreational infrastructure.

The project is being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund under the Ministry of Infrastructure, with funding from the Government of Georgia. Its total value is approximately GEL 1.7 million.

Construction works commenced in July 2023 and are scheduled for completion within the current year.

Also present at the site were the State Representative in Kakheti, Platon Kalmakhelidze, and the Mayor of Sagarejo Municipality, Vakhtang Kakutashvili.
