Village Bakurtsikhe to have renovated Center of Culture

First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund Juansher Burchuladze have visited the rehabilitation works being conducted at the Culture Center building in Bakurtsikhe Village.

Rehabilitation of the 4km Road under Completion in Village Chalaubani

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is completing rehabilitation works for the 4km road in Gurjaani Municipality Village Chalaubani. Project cost amounts to GEL 950 675,00 and it is backed by the World Bank. Today, completion of civil works was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Mr. Juansher Burchuladze. The village Chalaubani road has not undergone rehabilitation since 1970, due to the above-mentioned fact, the road was deteriorated and the village population faced problems while travelling on it.

Monastery Complex Rehabilitation Works Ongoing in Davit Gareji

The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Nodar Javakhishvili together with his First Deputy Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze were visiting the Davit-Gareji monastery rehabilitation works’ project site. The project under implementation by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is backed by the World Bank and Government of Georgia. The project aims at contributing to preservation of cultural heritage monuments and assisting in development of tourist infrastructure in Georgia.

Rehabilitation of the 4 village connecting 6 km long road ongoing in Lagodekhi Municipality

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation works for villages Tsodniskari- Tela-Pataragori-Kabala connecting road in Lagodekhi Municipality. Length of the road to be rehabilitated is 6 km and project cost amounts to GEL 2, 300, 000. The project is funded by the World Bank with co-financing from the Government of Georgia. Today, the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze were visiting the project site.

Landscaping on Makhata hill

Municipal Development Fund of Georgia carried out sapling planting of 2600 different species on Makhata hill. Today MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze, deputy executive director Davit Tabidze and other members of the Fund took part in landscaping activities. This landscaping event commenced in February 2016 and will be completed by the end of March. At the first stage 2300 saplings were planted by MDF on Rustavi-Tbilisi road. Within the framework of landscaping event totally, 5500 saplings were planted on both locations. Among planted maple and oak there were walnuts saplings which are included in red list.

Rehabilitation works on 4 km road from village Pakhulani to village Saberiode are completed

Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has finalized rehabilitation works of national importance motorway in Tsalenjihka municipality. In particular, rehabilitation works were conducted on 4 km access road from Pakhulani community center up to village Saberioni, which is located adjacent to Abkhazia de facto republic administrative border. Project was financed from state budget and cost equals to GEL 2,323,231.04. Today MDF executive director visited rehabilitated road.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has completed rehabilitation of the Tamar Mepe Street and Kvaiti Neighborhood connecting 3,5km long road in Martvili Municipality.

Rehabilitation of Salkhino-Letsave-Balda Connecting Road has Commenced

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced rehabilitation of the three villages’ connecting road in Martvili Municipality, in particular a 6,5 km long road connecting villages Salkhino-Letsave-Balda is undergoing rehabilitation, the named road has not been subjected to repair for 35 years. Commencement of rehabilitation works was launched by the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Mr. Juansher Burchuladze.

Landscaping action adjacent to Tbilisi-Rustavi highway

Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is planting various types of seedlings adjacent to Tbilisi-Rustavi highway. Today Minister of regional development and infrastructure Nodar Javakhishvili, first deputy minister Ilia Darchiashvili and MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze took part into the action. Landscaping action commenced in February and will be finalized by the end of March. Besides adjacent territory of Tbilisi-Rustavi highway landscaping action is scheduled to be conducted on Makhata mountain as well. Within the framework of the action totally 5500 seedlings will be set on both places.

Rehabilitation of cultural heritage monuments and tourist center within Ninotsminda monastery complex

Municipal Development Fund of Georgia implements cultural heritage monuments rehabilitation and arrangement of tourist infrastructure within Ninostminda monastery complex. MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze visited construction site. Rehabilitation of buildings existing on monastery territory as well as arrangement of water supply and sewerage systems are in progress. Meanwhile car parking area and tourist center is under arrangement. Wine cellar existing on monastery complex will be also faced with cobblestones and Georgian bricks.
