The new Museum is being constructed in the vicinity of Batoni Palace in Telavi City. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Galaktion Buadze and Kakheti Governor Irakli Kadagishvili have conducted the site visit for construction works of the Museum.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia backed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has purchased 144 garbage trucks and 7209 refuse bins for various municipalities of Georgia. Part of technical equipment was handed over to Borjomi Municipality by Zurab Alavidze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Galaktion Buadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has finalized tourist infrastructure arranging works in the vicinity of Dzveli (Old) and Akhali (New) Shuamta under Regional Development Project with the World Bank funding. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze, Metropolite of Alaverdi Monastery, Sovereign Davit Makharadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Galaktion Buadze and Kakheti Governor Irakli Kadagishvili conducted the site visit for Kakheti region, aimed at viewing accomplished works and opening of new tourist objects.

Decision on execution of the Contract for construction of the 2nd section of Tbilisi-Rustavi highway has been made. Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Galaktion Buadze and representatives of Turkish Company “Seza Inshaat” identified as the Bidding winner company, have already signed the Contract. The project undergoes implementation within Sustainable Urban Transport Investment Program of the Asian Development Bank. Duration of the 6.4 km Tbilisi-Rustavi highway construction makes up 2 years. Contract price for construction works amounts to GEL 119 million.

Galaktion Buadze - Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and his First Deputy – Juansher Burchuladze held a meeting with the representatives of the European Investment Bank.

Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Galaktion Buadze, Deputy Executive Director Davit Tabidze and Advisor on Project Management and Economic Issues Beka Toria have met the representatives of Spanish Company “COBRA ASSIGNIA”. Conducted meeting was of familiarizing character. Conversation held between the parties was about “University” Metro Station project being implemented by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia with financing of the Asian Development Bank at the cost of GEL 83,000,670.45.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia to be headed by Galaktion Buadze
Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Galaktion Buadze to head the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia. Galaktion Buadze has been appointed at the position of the Executive Director of the Fund pursuant to the Decree #480 dated November 30th, 2016 issued by the Prime Minister of Georgia.

The Mission of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has made an official visit at the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). Executive Director of MDF Juansher Burchuladze, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund Davit Tabidze and ADB representatives have conducted the visit for rehabilitation works of “University” Metro Station.

Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia hosted ADB mission. Within the framework of visit meeting was held between MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze, members of Donor Relations and Project Management Unit and ADB representatives where ongoing and planned projects as well as issues related to projects administrative, technical, ecological, financial fields and expected outcomes were discussed.

Access roads to Village Zhebota Ascension Complex and Archil Monastery in Tianeti Municipality are being rehabilitated by Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. Executive Director of the Fund Juansher Burchuladze has conducted the site visit aimed at observing progress of works.
