Public School designated for 450 students in Sabirkendi Village of Marneuli Municipality undergoes construction

 The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) proceeds with the Schools Construction  and Rehabilitation Program.

The Public School designated for 450 students in Sabirkendi Village of Marneuli Municipality, undergoes construction by MDF.

The project is funded by the Government of Georgia and its cost amounts to about GEL 6.3 million.

First Deputy Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Tsibadze along with the representatives of local authorities, was familiarized  with the school construction process on site.

The school of modern standards for 450 students is to be constructed in Sabirkendi and is to accomodate the classrooms, labs,  assembly hall, mini sports ground of combined type, refectory and other required infrastructure. The school will be completely adopted for the needs of people with disabilities.

In 2019 MDF got involved in the Educational Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation Program. Construction of over 50 new schools has already been completed in various regions throughout the country and full refurbishment of more than 50 schools is to be finalized till the end of 2021.
