Bidding Announced for Rehabilitation of Public Schools in 2 Villages of Dusheti Municipality

 The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is proceeding with the School Construction and Rehabilitation Program.

The MDF has already commenced announcement of biddings in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. Bidding was announced on procurement of rehabilitation works for public schools of Dusheti Municipality Villages Pirmisaantkari and Barisakho. Apart from the above-mentioned schools of Dusheti Municipality, Town Dusheti School #1 LEPL named after Vazha-Pshavela was also subjected to rehabilitation. 

The schools will be constructed with observance of international standards, and be fully adapted to needs of disabled people. There will be classrooms, WCs, sports grounds arranged in the buildings, yard area will be improved as well. Heating, water supply and wastewater systems will also be arranged under the named program.  

Under the Educational Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation Program, the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is undertaking construction of 66 schools, and works for rehabilitation and energy-efficiency component strengthening - for 100 schools. The Educational Program is funded by Government of Georgia and Donors   (CEB and NEFCO). Overall Program cost is exceeding GEL 300 million.

The MDF has been involved in Educational Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation Program since 2019.
