Bidding Announced on Construction of Animal Shelter in Gori

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure  of Georgia  has announced bidding for arrangement of animal shelter in Gori. 


The shelter will be located within an enclosed area and will be equipped with administrative and quarantine buildings, veterinary clinic, laboratory, open-air cages and such other requisite facilities and infrastructure.   


 Full range of functions carried out by the shelter inter alia include taking effective measures for identification of animal owners or finding new masters for them, as well as holding animal care-oriented awareness campaigns together with animal protection organizations.      


Gori animal shelter construction project is funded by the Government of Georgia. Project completion is scheduled in 2020.
