Infrastructural projects under implementation in Tsalka

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has completed rehabilitation of Gantiadi-Darakovi-Artsivani-Kushi connecting road in Tsalka and is commencing Kushi-Nardevani road rehabilitation project. Juansher Burchuladze - Acting Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia was visiting the completed project site.  

Gantiadi-Darakovi-Artsivani-Kushi-Nardevani road  is the circular road section, which further connects to the central, Tsalka-Ninotsminda-Akhalkalaki   national importance road.

Gantiadi-Darakovi-Artsivani-Kushi (up to village entrance) section of the named circular road is completed, and an approximately 2km  Kushhi-Nardevani section remaining has already been subjected to bidding by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, currently the bidding is completed and bid evaluation process is underway.    Kushi-Nardevani road rehabilitation project will be initiated in July and completed by the end of the year.   

Before arrangement of concrete pavement the population faced difficulties in conveyance along the former, earth road, especially in rainy weather. After project completion the problem was solved and locals and visitors are served by the comfortable road.  

Apart from the road project, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is also implementing water supply system rehabilitation works in Tsalka. Infrastructural projects ongoing in Tsalka are backed by the European Investment Bank.
