Enhancing water supply system for village Omalo and arrangement of sewage system for hotel “Samzeo” in Omalo, Akhmeta Municipality, Tusheti

This Sub-project (SP) is a part of Public-Private Infrastructure (PPI) Investment Program and is delivered in support to Ltd “Samzeo”. The proposed SP envisages enhancing of the village water supply system, arrangement of the water supply and wastewater system for the hotel “Samzeo”.

Restoration of Stepantsminda Museum

The SP is implementing under the Third Regional Development (RDP III), supported by World Bank.
The Subproject considers restoration of three buildings of Alexander Kazbegi historical museum complex in the borough of Stepantsminda - historical museum building, Alexander Kazbegi Memorial House and Nikoloz Kazbegi (uncle of Alexander Kazbegi) house, as well as arrangement of the museum yard.

Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessments of the rehabilitation and operation of Tskaltubo and Telavi waste water treatment plants

Rehabilitation of the Tskaltubo and Telavi waste water treatment plants will be implemented within the Sustainable Wastewater Management Project (SWMP) financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. The World Bank is the administrator of the SWMP.

Arrangement of a parking lot and upgrade of access road to Dariali Monastery residence (Kazbegi Municipality)

Under the sub-project it is planned arrangement of the parking territory and cement-concrete pavement on the access road to the monk’s cells via the church; arrangement of granite pavement adjacent area to Cells, arrangement of the wire mesh gabions.

Sustainable Urban Transport Investment Program SUTIP 3 (ADB Loan 3063-GEO) aims at development of the efficient, reliable and affordable urban infrastructure and service improvement.
Biannual Environmental Monitoring Report (EMR) for the projects implemented under the SUTIP 3, has been prepared by the Municipal Development Fund and covers the period of September, 2015 – February, 2016.

Reconstruction of Vani Archaeological Museum – Phase 3

The sub-project (SP) envisages reconstruction of Vani Archeological Museum building, in particular, dismantling of the old museum and construction of the new, up-to-date building. Completion of the museum extension together with construction of the new museum building are scheduled under the SP as well.

Presentation of “Tbilisi sustainable urban transport strategy” was held in Tbilisi city hall

„Tbilisi sustainable urban transport strategy “represents report prepared within the framework of project “Twining and institution capacity building”. With ADB financial support MDF implements Sustainable Urban Transport Investment Program – SUTIP. Consultant Mr. Jan Manuel Jilim hired by MDF prepared strategy, which was reviewed at Tbilici city hall government meeting on February 3, 2016 and document was submitted to transport municipal service. Sustainable urban transport strategy includes 15-year action plan.
