Georgia has received financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) toward the cost of the Bakuriani Municipal Services Project (BMSP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract - Procurement of Low-floor Passenger Buses for Bakuriani. The project envisages procurement of Passenger Buses (10 units) for Bakuriani.

Municipal Development Fund of Georgia intends using the proceeds of a loan from the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) and grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) for the implementation of the Investment Project “Energy Efficiency Improvements in Public Buildings and the use of renewables and alternative energy in Georgia”. The Project has a total estimated budget of EUR 4.7 MEUR aiming at implementing energy efficiency measures and including renewable energy sources in 25 public buildings in Georgia.
