Request for Expression of Interest – Construction Supervision for the Rehabilitation of the Tskaltubo and Telavi Wastewater Treatment Plants

Georgia received financing from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency toward the cost of the Sustainable Wastewater Management Project (SWMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The project envisages improvement of the efficiency of the water and wastewater sector in Georgia through rehabilitation of two wastewater treatment plants in Tskaltubo and Telavi towns.

The consulting services ("the Services") include day-to-day construction supervision of the civil works for rehabilitation of Tskaltubo and Telavi Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs). The overall objective of construction supervision is to execute control over the construction/rehabilitation works in order to ensure high quality of construction; adherence to the terms of work execution provided for in the construction contract in compliance with the detailed design and specification requirements, which in its turn will result in reliability, long-term sustainability and efficient operation of the rehabilitated works.
