On September 17, the former building of statistics was opened in Tskaltubo Municipality, which was transformed for the IDP-ies under the Municipal Infrastructure and IDP Housing Rehabilitation project.

The Third International Conference – “Motor Roads and Underground Utilities” – organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia was opened today by the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Davit Narmania.

The Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Shota Murghulia and the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Mr. Elguja Khokrishvili have been visiting the site of rehabilitation works for the Surami water supply system. They were also accompanied by local authorities.

The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Davit Narmania and the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Mr. Elguja Khokrishvili have been visiting the site of rehabilitation works for the head works of Oni water supply system in Oni Municipality. They were also accompanied by local authorities.

Opening ceremony of bank protection construction was held on July 27 in Zugdidi Municipality, village Anaklia. Mr. Davit Narmania, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. Elguja Khokrishvili, Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Ms. Kathie Julian, the representative of Permanent Mission of Asian Development Bank in Georgia, and representatives of Local Municipality attended the opening ceremony.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has completed rehabilitation works for Baghdati water supply system funded by the European Reconstruction and Development Bank (EIB-ს) under the Regional Development Project. Total cost of the project amounts to GEL 670,088.79. The works were executed by the Georgian Company ,,BELD INVEST“ LTD. There were 80 people employed on site in course of project, 70% of them were representatives of the local population. The works were initiated in June, 2012 and were completed this year.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has completed rehabilitation works for External lighting of Kvareli streets, underground utilities, planting/landscaping and rehabilitation of central streets under Regional Development Project with the World Bank financing. Locals were employed during all three projects. The lump sum for external lighting of Kvareli streets comprises 1781097.81GEL.
