Simultaneously several infrastructural projects and entire rehabilitation of resort zone are being implemented in Tskaltubo municipality by Municipal Development Fund of Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. Today MDF executive director Giorgi Amashukeli along with local government representatives visited current works.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia together with the United Water Supply Company of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation works for improvement of water supply system of Town Khobi. Today, the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Giorgi Amashukeli and Director of the United Water Supply Company of Georgia, Vladimer Lazarishvili were visiting works ongoing at the project site.

32 block of flats are under rehabilitation process in town Poti. By GoG funding current civil works in ADP settlement is implemented by MDF. MDF executive director Giorgi Amashukeli along with Samegrelo-zemo Svaneti governer Levan Shonia and local government representatives visited buildings external hydro and insulation works.

Cement-concrete pavement arrangement works are completed on the right (Ponichala-Rustavi direction) 6,5 km Section of Tbilisi-Rustavi Highway and concurrently the traffic has been diverted from the old to the new road section. This event was attended by the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Mr. Davit Shavliashvili accompanied by his First Deputy and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Amashukeli, ADB urban development senior specialist Mr. Bertran Goalu, Mayor of Rustavi, Mr. Davit Jikia and State Authorized Representative in Shida Kartli, Mr. Paata Khizanishvili.

Living conditions have been improved for thousands of IDP families living in cottage settlement. By USAID financial support MDF implemented drainage rehabilitation and water supply and sanitary facilities improvement works in 10 cottage settlements. 5 villages were gasified; in addition water supply system was rehabilitated in 9 cottage settlement, drainage system was cleaned and drainage channels were arranged. As a result of project implementation living conditions improved for 10 338 members of 3 446 IDP families. Total cost of the works consisted of GEL 22,976,000.

Cement-concrete arrangement works are already finalized on Tbilisi-Rustavi highway 3rd section with length of 6.5 km. Today first deputy minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Giorgi Amashukeli, along with representatives of MDF and contractor Company visited implemented works. Currently safety works are being implemented and barriers and road signs are installing.

Today, the monument of Ilia Chavchavadze was opened in village Tsitsamuri. The rehabilitated monument was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Giorgi Amashukeli, Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze, Governor of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region, Nugzar Kipiani and author of the monument Teimuraz Bochorishvili, together with Director of Ilia Chavchavadze House Museum Andro Bedukadze and Students of Medical University. The opening was attended by the students of Drama University, which were symbolically dressed in the outfits of characters from the works of Ilia Chavchavadze.
